PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DENGAN STRESS KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING (Studi Kasus Pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Kota Tebing Tinggi)

This research aims to determine the influence of workload and work discipline on employee performance with work stress as an intervening variable. This research uses a quantitative approach using non-probability sampling techniques with a saturated sampling category, so that the samples in this research were 50 prison guard employees. Data was collected using a questionnaire which was then analyzed using path analysis. The results of this research show that the first hypothesis is rejected, meaning workload has no effect on work stress, the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning work discipline has an effect on work stress, the third hypothesis is rejected, meaning workload has no effect on employee performance, the fourth hypothesis is accepted, meaning discipline work influences employee performance, the fifth hypothesis is accepted, meaning that work stress influences employee performance, the sixth hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the work stress variable can mediate the relationship between workload and employee performance, the seventh hypothesis is rejected, meaning that work stress cannot mediate the relationship between work discipline and performance employee.
