Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable in the fire and rescue service of Tebing Tinggi City. The research method used is a quantitative method using SPSS 26.00 for windows which was collected from the results of distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents. The analytical method used ini this research uses instrument tests, namely validity and reliability tests. Classical assumption tests, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2) analysis, hypothesis testing, namely T test and path analysis test. The result of SPSS in this research are that leadership style influences employee performance, leadership style influences work discipline, work discipline influence employee performance, and leadership style influences employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable.
