Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the effect of (1) internal control on employee performance (2) utilization of information technology on employee performance (3) internal control and utilization of information technology together or simultaneously on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a replication research nature with the aim of testing the effectiveness of the relationship between one variable and another. The population of this study was 30 employees of the National Unity and Politics Agency. The sample of this study was 30 people. The sampling technique used the Purposive Sampling technique to determine the sample based on certain criteria. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Analysis tools: instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (r2), t test and f test using SPSS version 25.00. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: The first hypothesis proposed can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that internal control has an effect on employee performance. The second hypothesis proposed states that it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the use of information technology has an effect on employee performance. The third hypothesis proposed states that it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning that internal control and the use of information technology have a simultaneous effect on employee performance.
